The Yacht Tour Zanzibar is a private catamaran charter — the whole boat, and its crew, reserved just for your group. This is a typical full-day (≈9hr) charter. Every trip is private and flexible — the crew adapts the order and timing to the tides, the wind and what your group wants.

Morning — Transfer & Welcome Aboard A transfer boat collects your group and runs you out to your catamaran, where the crew welcomes you aboard, settles you in, and talks through the day’s plan over a drink.

Late Morning — Set Sail Lines off, and you cruise out along the coast. Stretch out on the deck or the trampoline nets between the hulls and watch Zanzibar’s shoreline slide by.

Midday — Swim & Snorkel Stop The crew anchors over a reef or in a sheltered patch of clear water. Slip in for a swim, grab the snorkel gear, or simply float — the seabed is often visible right beneath you.

Early Afternoon — Sandbank & Lunch on Deck Pull up near a sandbank or a quiet bay for a barefoot wander, then return aboard for a meal prepared by the crew, served on deck with the ocean all around.

Afternoon — Leisure & Music The rest of the afternoon is yours: sunbathing, swimming, and music on the boat’s sound system — turn it into a party with an optional DJ, or keep it mellow.

Golden Hour — Sunset Cruise As the light softens, the crew positions the yacht for Zanzibar’s celebrated sunset — the highlight of any evening charter.

Best Time for a Yacht Tour in Zanzibar

That said, the seasons do shape the feel of a day at sea. The long dry season from June to October is the classic window — sunny, reliable, and busy — while the calm, glassy waters of the northeast monsoon from December to February are a favourite for swimming and snorkeling stops. Where does the yacht depart from — and can it start somewhere else?
